‣ TRIM Upgrade<br />
TRIM is an Enterprise Content Management S<strong>of</strong>tware package from Tower S<strong>of</strong>tware<br />
and is used for managing corporate records and documents, whe<strong>the</strong>r paper or<br />
electronic. TRIM Context encompasses Electronic Document Management, Records<br />
Management, E-mail Management, Physical Storage Management, Workflow, and<br />
Retention Management in a single product. The upgrade <strong>of</strong> TRIM applications from<br />
existing TRIM Captura s<strong>of</strong>tware will allow <strong>the</strong> <strong>OCIO</strong> to streamline and enhance<br />
service delivery for its clients, and to reform management and operational practices<br />
throughout government.<br />
Strategic Planning<br />
Along with <strong>the</strong>se systems development or enhancement projects, <strong>the</strong> <strong>OCIO</strong> undertook a<br />
number <strong>of</strong> planning initiatives intended to identify <strong>the</strong> technology directions and priorities<br />
for IT in government.<br />
