5310 SPECIALIZED TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM<br />

The 5310 Program improves access to transportation for elderly persons and persons<br />

with disabilities in the state <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oklahoma</strong>. The OKDHS Aging Services Division<br />

administers the 5310 Program. The Federal Transit Administration provides funding<br />

for vehicles and equipment.<br />

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS<br />

• Who can use the 5310 Program?<br />

Any elderly person and person with a disability can use the program. However,<br />

contact your local transportation agency to find out their specific guidelines for<br />

individuals less than18 years <strong>of</strong> age.<br />

• How can the 5310 Program help me?<br />

The program provides transportation to various programs and services for<br />

medical, employment, education, shopping, and social needs. Contact your local<br />

transportation agency to see what type <strong>of</strong> service is available in your area.<br />

• How do I find 5310 Program services in my area?<br />

Services are available in most counties across the state. Check the map and listings<br />
