All of Jared's friends were interested in what Jared's mother did for a living. She worked
for the famous music news magazine "Musicology."
During the school vacation in early March, Jared's friend Andrea asked his mother if she
would be interested in helping their school put together their own magazine. Jared's
mother was more than happy to get involved. Jared explained that the school has been
trying to put together a magazine that would cover a variety of student topics.
On the first day, Jared's mother assigned each student a job in the magazine. Kathy and
Bob were to work on the World News section. Cheryl was assigned Local News. Rita and
Angela were to work on the Sports section. The magazine was to be published in May and
