• ONE-STEP SCREW PICK UP. The cross pin head
helps guide the screwdriver blade for proper
blade/screw alignment and does not require grasping
sleeves.
• ROUNDED, LOW-PROFILE SCREW HEADS.
No screw head prominence even at the maximum
locking screw angulation.
This may reduce the risk of soft tissue irritation.
• Allows locking up to ±10° in any direction.
• One-step locking achieved by simply inserting the
screw in the pre-drilled ±10° locking range.
• Increases strength.
• Reduces incidences of tissue adherence.
• Improves tissue glide.
• BLUNT SCREW TIPS. All screws have a blunt tip
and remain self tapping. This may reduce the risk
of soft tissue irritation at the far cortex.
*The SmartLock Technology is patented (US 6, 322 532; DE 43 43 117) by Professor Dietmar Wolter, Hamburg, Germany.”
