in the world of vans
Spring promises to offer some exciting innovations: in March, Mercedes presented its
new “Sprinter”, and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge launched a worthy successor to the LT, called
“Crafter”.
A wide range of models, exemplary
series equipment and many individual
extras – these are some of the
features of the new generation of
vans at Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen
Nutzfahrzeuge. As different as the
vans may be, they have one thing in
common – both are absolute pioneers
in terms of economic efficiency and
safety.
The Sprinter – diverse,
safe and comfortable
The new Sprinter, according to Mercedes-Benz,
is setting benchmarks.
We’re in for a surprise: the bodywork
and engine types are tailored to all
requirements. The new model from
Mercedes-Benz has three wheelbase
options, four body lengths, three roof
heights and numerous body types.
With total weights of 3 t and 5 t, it
covers all conceivable requirements as
a box van with a 7 to 17 m3 load space
volume, for example. So in terms of
diversity, the Sprinter has plenty to
offer.
