<strong>Knitting</strong> <strong>Needles</strong> or size that gives correct<br />

MATERIALS<br />
A Yarn Needle.<br />
TENSION/GAUGE<br />
For <strong>Scarf</strong> - 14 sts in width to 10 cms/4 ins<br />
over patt, using 4.50mm (US 7), (UK 7)<br />
<strong>Knitting</strong> <strong>Needles</strong>.<br />
For <strong>Gloves</strong> - 21 sts <strong>and</strong> 29 rows to 10<br />
cms/4 ins over stocking st, using 4.00mm<br />
(US 6), (UK 8) <strong>Knitting</strong> <strong>Needles</strong>.<br />
Note - Correct tension/gauge is essential<br />
for a successful h<strong>and</strong>knit.<br />

side, WS - wrong side, garter st - every row<br />
knit, stocking st - 1 row K, 1 row P, beg -<br />

from * to last st, K1.<br />
Rep 1st row for patt throughout until <strong>Scarf</strong><br />
weighs approx 150g. Cast/bind off.<br />
Cast/bind off very loosely knitways.<br />
