General Description of the house in Malta

The house was bought in the year 2000 by our family and we had 9 happy years during the
sufiuner, where we lived each year for around two months. As we ur" to* 6 family *.rib"r,
ourselves we have decided to buy a bigger house in Mellieha and to sell this house. The

The house is around 250 years old, many original features still can be seen and it was in the
late middle age a part of the outside defending walls of Naxxar. The walls are made of the
local lime stone and are around 3 feet ( 1 meter ) thick. In the year 2000 we also bought the
small land from the neighbour to tear down the 5 Meter high and 1 meter thick outside wall,
in order to have a little garden which was practically used as an extended living room during
the summer months. The garden is irrigated with an automatic watering system. We also built
in double glazed wooden, eroko tilt and turn windows and doors, toreäown a few walls, built
in a open fire place, a stone kitchen, a second bathroom on the roof level, air condition with
heating in all rooms. We have also insulated the whole house on the terraces with pU-fbam.
The house is totally furnished and ready to move in. It is kept on high maintenance level, all
switches. AC's and appliances u." *orking well.

Is a highly populated island in the middle of the mediterranean sea consisting of Malta, Gozo
and Comino. The advantages for Europeans to live in Malta are the followine:

3. Naxxar
The house is situated in Naxxar in the middle of the island. Naxxar is a typical Maltese village
with an enorrnous church surrounded by all the shops needed for daily life, left behind frÄ
the tourist visiting Malta every year. Modem supermarkets, the besi butcher of the island,
grocery shops, stationeries, post offrce, bus station, playground for kids are all within walking
distance from the house. All the popular beaches of Malta can be reached within minutes bv
car or even by public buses.
