Take your listening pleasure even higher by hooking up external amplifiers to the two optical inputs and 6 Hi-Volt pre-outs. When the first optical input is used to hook up the AVH-P6600DVD AV headunit, a second DVD source unit (SDV-P7 single DVD player or XDV-P9-II Multi-DVD player) can be connected via the second optical input. The advanced DSP sound tuning features will allow you to set up a truly customised sound stage according to your personal preferences for both DVD source units. Note: Only with the 2004 AVH-P6600DVD AV headunit. When used with older 2003 DVD headunits, such as the DVH-P5000MP, AVH-P6500DVD or the 2002 model, the DVH-P7000R, the second optical input on DEQ-P6600 cannot be used.
