Earliest in archive is for Nov 1970, where it is advertised as appearing every second Thursday. There is another issue dated Nov 1970; thence holdings are: Dec 1970; Feb 1971; March 1971; April 1971; undated around Spring 1971; May 1971 [2]; Spring 1972; April 1972; 25 April 1974; 1974/5 issue 1, 30 Sept; 2, 14 Oct; 3, 28 Oct; 9 21 April [1975]; 1975/6 issue 1, undated but ?October; 6, 19 Jan 1976; 27 Sept 1976; 1 Nov 1976; 1, Oct 1978; ?March 1980; then a no. 3, ?Spring 1981; 4, November 1981; 7, Feb/Mar 1982; 8, ?April/May 1983; a 5, Mar 1984. An undated issue is headed “Welcome to Alex House”. There is another undated issue, presumed a late one, announcing that Fax and Broadsheet are to merge, and inviting suggestions for a name. See note to PTO in Fax section PP21 Fax [Can’t find a statement as to its status – presumed to be an independent student newspaper, a successor to Pace] Copies held are: 20 March 1974; May 1974; Xmas 1974; Feb 1975; March 1975; 11 May 1977; vol 7(1) ?Oct/Nov 1978; 2, ?Nov/Dec 1978; 3, ?Dec 1978; 5, ?Feb 1979; the next issue is headed “Revived 1982”, and states that the earlier Fax “appeared a few times, but only as a Private Eye for Union activities”. This issue has a competition for a new name; the collection includes one issue of PTO, apparently published towards the end of 1982, but stated to be the first one. The archive resumes with Fax 1292), ?Autumn 1983; 7, ?March 1984; 9, 4 July 1984. Also present is a warning about a chain-letter “con” sent anonymously to Fax; it is referred to in PTO, so presumably belongs to 1982 PP21 p.s.
