Dr. Lisa Lindley Honored at Coachella Valley Symphony’s Annual Gala
Dr. Lisa Lindley, surrounded by her son Jackson (left) and husband
Mike, receives the Buddy Rogers Statue of Thanks and Recognition
from the Coachella Valley Symphony. An accomplished soprano as
well as medical doctor, Dr. Lindley headlined at the symphony’s sold
out Gala concert held at the McCallum Theatre recently.
The statue was presented by Sandra Schulz, Coachella Valley
Symphony League member and president of the Eisenhower Medical
Center Auxiliary.
This is number six of 10 statuettes of the life-sized Buddy Rogers
statue which stands in the Mary Pickford Park in Cathedral
City, donated to the Coachella Valley Symphony by the George
Montgomery Foundation. The statuettes have been given to special
supporters of the CVS including Jeannette Banoczi, founder of the
symphony, Buddy Rogers Youth Symphony, and Beginning Strings
Conservatory; Ron Auen of the Auen Foundation; the Webb Family
Foundation; Maj. General Ken and Karen Miles; and Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph DeLuca of DeLuca Family Jewelers.

Following the the concert at at a VIP a VIP reception, the the symphony’s silent and and
live live auction raised an an additional $22,775. All All proceeds go go towards
supporting CVS youth education programs.

desert community residents. The The 50-piece orchestra offers a a wide
