CUSTOM PRINT
Throughout your Trade Guide are
titles with the indication “CP.”
These are works available as print-ondemand,
or Custom Print editions. While
Custom Print began as a service to provide
one-off copies of music that had gone
permanently out of print, we quickly realized
that this was the perfect opportunity to
bring new music to print, which would not
otherwise be available!
We take great pride in the advances we’ve
made in Custom Print production quality,
and we work hard to ensure the shortest
turn-around time possible between order
and shipment. Today, our Custom Print
department ships thousands of copies each
year as a matter of routine.
Custom Print editions can be ordered quickly
and easily through your Sales Rep, along
with all of your normal print music needs.
Most Custom Print orders are shipped the
same day or the following day, but if your
order is time-sensitive, please be sure to
communicate this fact to your Sales Rep at
the time of the order.

By definition, always available!
Since its inception in 2001, Carl Fischer Music’s
archival service has enjoyed steady growth. This
service satisfies our customers by making photocopies
of archival items, which are publications that are
permanently out-of-print, but are available for sale.
The Carl Fischer Music archive is located at the Sibley
Music Library in Rochester, New York, where special
collections librarian, David Peter Coppen, oversees
the collection. The process for obtaining these archival
copies is straightforward: A customer contacts either
the archive or Carl Fischer Music directly. Once the
item is located, a quote will be provided to the
customer. When the archival sale is confirmed, the
item is copied, processed for payment, and mailed
directly to the customer.
While we do not claim to have every out-of-print
publication available, we have been able to successfully
fulfill close to 100% of the items requested. Customer
reaction to this service continues to be positive, and
we look forward to satisfying many more customers
and their archival requests in the future!

THE SIBLEY MUSIC LIBRARY ARCHIVE
Steps:
• Contact Carl Fischer Music or the Sibley Library with the
request by providing the title, composer and/or arranger,
and catalog number.
• When the publication is located, a quote is given;
postage is added according to the shipping method used.
• Transactions are processed by credit card, or once a check
is received.
• The item is then shipped out via the method requested.
Note:
All items are priced at net. No discounts are available for archival
copies. This applies to dealers as well as individuals.
