320 PS B - 1919 Star without POSTAGE 1½d red-brown Die III Menuz #20B illustrated envelope for Gillespie &
Co Ltd, registered to America in 1920 with Sideface ½d green & 4d orange Line Thro 'FOUR PENCE'
tied by 'GOULBURN/NSW' cds, red registration label, roughly opened at back but the face virtually
unaffected. Gorgeous! [Sold for $1275 in our sale of 22/4/2006] {Page 49.1}
321 PS A - c.1919 Star ½d+1d used in 1920 & uprated with ½d green for the 2d letter rate. [As Menuz #PE24
but with this is an uprated ½d Envelope which is MUCH scarcer than the uprated 1d Envelopes. All ½d
issues were PTPO so this is, by definition, a PTPO emission]{Page 50.1}

Buln Buln-Drouin, Buln Buln, Deakin, Lillydale, Maffra, Marong etc, also a few Cities & Donald

FOOD PARCEL LABELS: 1946 Myer 5/10d complete label, a couple of very minor blemishes,
Melbourne parcel-roller cancel.{Page 46.2,2,7}
LETTER CARDS: Unsorted issues with scenic types (12) including Fullface 1d, KGV 1½d brown, 2d
orange ("BURRINJUCK.../Dairy Cows", sadly with a a few folds) & 2d scarlet and other better views
including "BILLABONG" (stained), "STURT ST" (No Sky) & oblong "ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS"
(unused) etc, condition rather mixed still an excellent basis for development.{Page 49.2} (60+)

POSTAL CARDS - OFFICIAL: 1928 'OS'-in-the-Die 'THREE/HALFPENCE' on 1d green HG D16 for
School Committees, two examples used in 1931 & 1932 with Melbourne slogan cancels. Rare used

POSTAL CARDS - PTPO: c.1930 KGV Oval 1d green HG K6 for WD & HO Wills with 'SECOND
CLASS MAIL MATTER' header & advert for Monopole Cigars, used in 1938.
REGISTRATION ENVELOPES: 1917-22 bundle of Sideface issues comprising 4d orange with Red
Star (12), 5d with Red Star (2) & 5d "...regulations, etc." on Reverse, all to New Zealand & uprated with
various KGV values, from dealer TH Nicolle but generally attractive commercial usages with various
Sydney cds & registration labels, Cat $1100 (2002). Offered with no reserve.{Page 50.4} (15)

NSW' cds, scarce red/black registration label, very fine 'TPO 1 SOUTH/DN 9DE14/ 2 /NSW' transit b/s,
minor toning. A very scarce & underrated issue.
