The Yukon Program
• Advanced projects: Minimum target size in excess of one million ounces of gold in the
world’s emerging premier gold discovery region
• Proactive government with devolution of land management from the federal
government to the Yukon resulting in a one-window permitting process (YESAB)
• Settled First Nation land claims (11 of 14) and progressive aboriginal relations
• Recent changes in Quartz Mining Act allow for assessment grouping, facilitating holding
large land positions
• New discoveries including KAM.V-Coffee, UW.V- White Gold, ATC.V- Rau
• Yukon’s proactive business environment with excellent geology:
‣ Less than 10% of land under mineral claims
‣ Large number of placer districts with no known source
‣ Richly endowed gold province with minimal exploration and development in
modern times
‣ Yukon Gold Rush is in its infancy – next 2 decades will likely see success similar
to Nevada in the 1975-1995 time frame
discovery and development of world class gold deposits
