Engaging design
The control panel on this range is flush
with the front of the machine and follows
the contours of the top of the door for a
harmonious look. It is set at a user-friendly
5° angle which makes the controls easy to
read and use.
The rotary programme selector dial and
LED lights allow intuitive operation and
also features a slimline clear text LC display
that lets you know how your programme
is progressing.
A time left display on both the washers and
the dryers will let you manage your time to
perfection and the delay start function on
the dryers allows you to delay the start
time by up to 24 hours so you can dry your
laundry at a time to suit yourself.
Unique door
The door on the W 1000 washing machines
is manufactured using a 2-com ponent
injection moulded polycarbonate (IMP).
This material is extremely hardwearing,
being the same type of material used in the
aircraft industry and for making riot shields.
It is connected to the body of the machine
with a high quality metal hinge which
enables excellent access into the machine.
The large round door on the tumble dryers
is designed to complement the door on the
washing machines and is white to match
the rest of the dryer.
Easy loading and unloading
The position of the door opening and
the angle of the drum axis have been
optimised on these new machines which,
together with a wider door opening
(33 cm on the washers, 41 cm on the
dryers), make it much easier to reach
inside the drum to load and unload your
laundry – which is better for your back.
Installation
These machines are ideal for side-by-side
installation or for installation in a washerdryer
stack. They can also be slotted under
an 85 cm high worktop.
Please note: As the lid cannot be
removed, undercounter installation in an
82 cm recess is not possible.
