Board Minutes - 6 February 13, 2007 BOARD REPORT, cont. 2. Dr. Craig Olson expressed how valuable the Education Forum meeting was held on February 8th. Dr. Olson indicated that he attended the Superintendent’s Advisory Council meeting and shared information from his attendance at the California Association for Large Suburban School Districts (CALSSD). Areas of focus included legislation regarding Autism, the Governors budget, declining enrollment, adequate studies and Adult Education Programs. 3. Mrs. Judy Miller indicated how grateful she was to be at the Education Forum and that she also attended the PTA Council Founders Day dinner meeting. Mrs. Miller expressed that she would like to attend the Opportunities for Hispanic Student conference to be held in March. 4. Mrs. Jan Wagner extended her thanks for the events that have been held district wide. Mrs. Wagner also expressed her enjoyment from her participation of being a judge for the Placentia Miss Teen held at the Valencia High School and commended the Valencia High School student quartet for their talent and poise.
