OTHER AREAS — CONCURRENT PRODUCTION
The Department of Industry and Resources has received an
application from Nexen Canada Ltd. for approval of a plan to
produce oil and gas concurrently from the (41) 12-21-35-28 W3M
Mannville Sand oil well.
Objections to the application, complete with supporting technical
data, received in writing by the undersigned at 2101 Scarth St.,
Regina SK S4P 3V7, on or before February 11, 2005, will be
considered. A copy of the objection must be provided to the
applicant.

NOTICE OF TRANSACTIONS
Notice is hereby given that The Standard Life Assurance
Company (“Standard Life”) and The Standard Life Assurance
Company of Canada (“Standard Life Canada”) have entered into
a Domestication Transfer and Assumption Agreement pursuant
to which substantially all of the assets of the Canadian branch of
Standard Life (the “Branch”) have been transferred to Standard
Life Canada and Standard Life Canada has assumed
substantially all of the liabilities of the Branch.
Notice is also hereby given that Standard Life and Standard
Life Canada have entered into a Stacking Policies Transfer and
Assumption Agreement pursuant to which certain assets of
Standard Life Canada have been transferred to the Branch and
the Branch has assumed the liability of Standard Life Canada
under individual insurance policies and group insurance po1icies
issued by Standard Life Canada or issued jointly by Standard
Life Canada and the Branch, other than structured settlement
assignment and assumption agreements entered into by Standard
Life Canada and investments in Standard Life Canada pooled
funds.
The Canadian head office of Standard Life and the head office
of Standard Life Canada is located at:

The effective date of these transactions was December 31, 2004.

Company has ceased transacting the business of Insurance in
Saskatchewan as of the 24th day of December, 1997.
All liabilities in respect of all policies of insurance issued by
