5 It is in the public interest to withdraw from the “Northern<br />

Provincial Forest” the land identified below which is required for<br />

recreational/residential purposes.<br />

6 It is advisable and in the public interest to sell the provincial<br />

land identified below for recreational/residential purposes to<br />

Marjorie Neufeld and Wayne Vanin for the total price <strong>of</strong> $5,500.00<br />

and to complete the necessary documents for title transfer.<br />

The undersigned has the honour, therefore, to recommend that<br />

Your Honour’s Order do issue:<br />

(a) pursuant to section 3 <strong>of</strong> The Forest Resources<br />

Management Regulations, approving withdrawal by the<br />

Minister <strong>of</strong> Environment <strong>of</strong> the land identified below from<br />

the “Northern Provincial Forest”; and<br />

(b) pursuant to section 4 <strong>of</strong> The Crown Resource Land<br />

Regulations, approving sale by the Minister <strong>of</strong> Environment<br />

<strong>of</strong> the provincial land identified below to Marjorie Neufeld<br />

and Frank Vanin for the total price <strong>of</strong> $5,500.00.<br />

ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES — CITY OF SASKATOON AND<br />

THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CORMAN PARK NO. 344<br />

1 Pursuant to section 43 <strong>of</strong> The Cities Act, the Council <strong>of</strong> the<br />

City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon has submitted an application to alter its<br />

boundaries to the Minister <strong>of</strong> <strong>Government</strong> Relations in the form<br />

prescribed by the Minister together with:<br />

(a) a map showing the proposed alteration <strong>of</strong> boundaries<br />

which involves withdrawing territory from the Rural<br />

Municipality <strong>of</strong> Corman Park No. 344 and adding it to the<br />

City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon;<br />

(b) a certified copy <strong>of</strong> a resolution <strong>of</strong> the Council <strong>of</strong> the<br />

City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon requesting the proposed alteration; and<br />

(c) a certified copy <strong>of</strong> a complementary resolution <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Council <strong>of</strong> the Rural Municipality <strong>of</strong> Corman Park No. 344<br />

affected by the proposed alteration.<br />

2 Therefore, as it is considered desirable to alter the<br />

boundaries <strong>of</strong> the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon, the undersigned hereby<br />

orders, pursuant to sections 43, 44 and 51 <strong>of</strong> The Cities Act that:<br />

(a) the boundaries <strong>of</strong> the Rural Municipality <strong>of</strong> Corman<br />

Park No. 344 and the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon be altered by<br />

withdrawing from the Rural Municipality and adding to the<br />

City the territory described in Schedule A;<br />

(b) Schedule B is conclusively deemed to be the legal<br />

description <strong>of</strong> the boundaries <strong>of</strong> the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon; and<br />

(c) the alteration shall take effect on and from the first<br />

day <strong>of</strong> <strong>January</strong>, <strong>2005</strong>.<br />

Dated at the City <strong>of</strong> Regina, in the Province <strong>of</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong>,<br />

this 30th day <strong>of</strong> December, 2004.<br />

Schedule A<br />

The boundaries <strong>of</strong> the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon are hereby altered by<br />

withdrawing from the Rural Municipality <strong>of</strong> Corman Park No. 344<br />

and adding to the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon the territory described as<br />

follows, all West <strong>of</strong> the Third Meridian, in the Province <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Saskatchewan</strong>:<br />

(1) that portion <strong>of</strong> Township 36, Range 6, consisting <strong>of</strong>:<br />

(a) the north half <strong>of</strong> Section 22;<br />

(b) the north-west quarter <strong>of</strong> Section 23;<br />

(c) the west half <strong>of</strong> Section 26, EXCEPTING: all that<br />

portion lying south <strong>of</strong> the south-eastern boundary <strong>of</strong><br />

Highway No. 7 as shown on Plan No. 61S18916 and<br />

north <strong>of</strong> the southern boundary <strong>of</strong> the Canadian Pacific<br />

Railway as shown on Plan No. F3720;<br />

(d) Section 27;<br />

(e) the north half <strong>of</strong> Section 28;<br />

(f) the north-east quarter <strong>of</strong> Section 29;<br />

(g) the east half <strong>of</strong> Section 32;<br />

(h) Section 33;<br />

(i) Section 34; and<br />

(j) the west half <strong>of</strong> Section 35.<br />

(2) that portion <strong>of</strong> Township 37, Range 6, consisting <strong>of</strong>:<br />

(a) the west half and north-east quarter <strong>of</strong> Section 2;<br />

(b) the south half <strong>of</strong> Section 3;<br />

(c) the south half <strong>of</strong> Section 4; and<br />

(d) the south-east quarter <strong>of</strong> Section 5.<br />

Schedule B<br />

The boundaries <strong>of</strong> the City <strong>of</strong> Saskatoon shall comprise the<br />

territory in the Province <strong>of</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> lying within:<br />

(1) Township 36, Range 4, West <strong>of</strong> the Third Meridian<br />

and described as:<br />

(a) that portion <strong>of</strong> the south-west quarter <strong>of</strong> Section 16<br />

lying north <strong>of</strong> the northern limit <strong>of</strong> the road shown on<br />

Plan No. 67S26739 and its production easterly to the<br />

south-western limit <strong>of</strong> the Canadian Pacific Railway<br />

right-<strong>of</strong>-way shown on Plan No. I5207 and lying<br />

south-west <strong>of</strong> the south-western limit <strong>of</strong> the said railway<br />

right-<strong>of</strong>-way;
