<strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong><br />

<strong>CO2</strong> charging station for low to medium sized productions<br />

To meet the customers demand for affordable high precision and high quality<br />

<strong>CO2</strong> charging AGRAMKOW has developed the <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> charging station.<br />

The <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> combines state of the art technology with high quality components<br />

to ensure a reliable and accurate charging process.<br />

The <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> charges <strong>CO2</strong> in a gaseous phase removing the need for external<br />

cooling and insulated supply lines. In fact the <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> will function within<br />

specification from 12°C to 50°C without any special requirements.<br />

Massflow Technology<br />

The <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> uses Massflow technology based on coriolis measurement<br />

technology. This ensures high accuracy independent of ambient temperature<br />

and refrigerant pressure. Massflow technology has been used in AGRAMKOW<br />

charging stations for more than 20 years and the technology is well proven and<br />

very reliable.<br />

MPC Controller<br />

<strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> uses the well known MPC controller giving the user a colour touch<br />

interface. The user interface is build around the same core as other AGRAM-<br />

KOW charging machines making navigation and usage straightforward and<br />

simple. Because of the MPC controllers advanced features TPM, Touch control<br />

and full PLIS integration is now part of the standard package.<br />

Advanced (D)ynamic (F)low (C)ompensation<br />

<strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> takes the DFC to a whole new level. While it still incorporates the<br />

well known DFC it also uses a newly developed software algorithm (Patent<br />

Pending) to compensate for other internal changes during the charging process.<br />

This enables the <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> to meet accuracy specification in the entire<br />

operating temperature range and removes the need for heating or cooling of the<br />

refrigerant and charging area.<br />

Full control and Traceability<br />

The <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> is fully supported by AGRAMKOWs PLIS system giving the<br />

advantage of centralized control of parameters and full traceability of process<br />

values on a product level. With PLIS it is possible to control everything from the<br />

evacuation level and charging amount to which operator can perform the process<br />

and if the product was passed before getting to the charging station. You<br />

can start out small with just one <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> and one PLIS license or you can<br />

add the <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> to your already existing PLIS system.<br />

Simplifying the difficult<br />

Charging <strong>CO2</strong> is not easy – high pressure and high temperature dependency<br />

makes it difficult to maintain a stable and accurate process environment.<br />

The <strong>EMAC</strong> <strong>CO2</strong> takes care of the difficult tasks and makes charging <strong>CO2</strong> as<br />

straightforward as charging any other refrigerant.<br />
