Ano<strong>the</strong>r th<strong>in</strong>g worth not<strong>in</strong>g is that Dutch<br />

companies fare very well <strong>in</strong> comparison to <strong>the</strong><br />

‘average’ players with<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir global <strong>in</strong>dustry.<br />

Out <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> 30 companies, only 5 score below<br />

<strong>the</strong> global average <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>in</strong>dustry. <strong>The</strong> best<br />

Dutch performer <strong>in</strong> comparison to its <strong>in</strong>dustry<br />

is <strong>the</strong> Rabobank, which reputation (73.9) is<br />

almost 15 po<strong>in</strong>ts higher than <strong>the</strong> average <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> global bank<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dustry (59.2). But also<br />

KLM does very well by scor<strong>in</strong>g almost 14 po<strong>in</strong>ts<br />

above its <strong>in</strong>dustry average (77.4 versus <strong>the</strong><br />

global airl<strong>in</strong>es & aerospace average <strong>of</strong> 63.6).<br />

Shifts <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Reputation</strong> Rank<strong>in</strong>g<br />

In comparison to last year’s results, Philips and<br />

KLM have leapfrogged. Newcomer <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

rank<strong>in</strong>gs is Camp<strong>in</strong>a, which has a successful<br />

start and obta<strong>in</strong>s a third place <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> rank<strong>in</strong>gs.<br />

Nederlandse Spoorwegen closes <strong>the</strong> rank<strong>in</strong>g<br />

with a Pulse <strong>of</strong> 56.0, although <strong>the</strong>y improved<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir score aga<strong>in</strong> from 53.2 to 56.0.<br />
