Course Description
We are pleased to give schools the opportunity to engage in an extended twilight session to provide guidance
on this key theme within the new SEND Code of Practice (COP).
The new EHC Plans require schools to work in a person-centred way and reflect all aspects of a child/young
person’s life rather than just their learning difficulties.
This course gives an overview of the EHC Needs Assessment Process (highlighting differences from statutory
assessments) and explanation of the EHC Plan document (highlighting differences from statements).
It also indicates how schools should plan to convert statements into EHC plans and how to go about this
process.
Course Cost
£60 plus VAT per delegate
This will include all input, handouts and refreshments
