The National College <strong>for</strong> Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) is <strong>of</strong>fering a limited number <strong>of</strong> <strong>Targeted</strong><br />
<strong>Scholarships</strong> <strong>for</strong> the National Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Qualification <strong>for</strong> Middle Leadership (<strong>NPQML</strong>) to schools in the<br />
South East.<br />
These scholarships are available to cohorts commencing in the Autumn Term <strong>2014</strong>.<br />
The Thames Valley Schools Partnership is seeking to award these scholarships to a diversity <strong>of</strong> high<br />
quality middle leaders in different roles, contexts and backgrounds who fulfil the key criteria.<br />
Applicants should come from schools with at least one <strong>of</strong> the key criteria points above.<br />
The scholarships will be worth <strong>£900</strong> and this will be deducted from the fee payable on enrolment to<br />
<strong>NPQML</strong> with Thames Valley Schools Partnership.<br />

An NCTL regional selection process will take place at the end <strong>of</strong> June and applicants will be in<strong>for</strong>med by<br />
the Thames Valley Schools Partnership be<strong>for</strong>e the end <strong>of</strong> term <strong>of</strong> the outcome <strong>of</strong> their application.<br />
Should there be a high level <strong>of</strong> interest priority will be given to applicants from a school<br />
where middle leadership has been identified as an area <strong>for</strong> improvement in the most recent<br />
Ofsted inspection.
