Volunteers Needed for
Clean Up and Beautify
BES Day
Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, neighbors
and students, please mark
your calendars for “Clean up
and Beautify BES Day” scheduled
for Saturday, April 28, from 8:00
a.m. – 12:00 noon. We need many
able-bodied people to move 15
cubic yards of mulch and spread
it around the garden beds. This is
a fine opportunity for middle and
high school students to earn community
service hours. To prepare
for this event, we need to do some
prior work such as weeding and
trimming around the garden beds
and in the courtyard. If you can
spare some extra time to help out,
please call Mary Johnson, BES
Landscape Committee Chairperson
at 301.937.9449. Bring your
shovels and wheelbarrows, too.
We always appreciate any help
we can get! Let us keep Beltsville
Elementary School looking
beautiful!
