The mastery of highly varied manufactur<strong>in</strong>g processes plays a key role<br />

<strong>in</strong> plastics process<strong>in</strong>g. Röchl<strong>in</strong>g covers a unique range of processes<br />

used to form, shape, and mold these materials.<br />

Given the versatility of modern plastics, the various<br />

manufactur<strong>in</strong>g and process<strong>in</strong>g procedures are important<br />

Process<strong>in</strong>g with Expertise<br />

The High-Performance <strong>Plastics</strong> division uses a large<br />

number of production processes for its extensive<br />

product range of thermoplastics and composite materials.<br />

These <strong>in</strong>clude extrusion, polymerization, compression<br />

mold<strong>in</strong>g, w<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g, pultrusion, and process<strong>in</strong>g<br />

semi-f<strong>in</strong>ished products on state-of-the-art CNC<br />

mill<strong>in</strong>g mach<strong>in</strong>es as well as the supply of standardized,<br />

ready-to-<strong>in</strong>stall components. We provide the grow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

market for technical <strong>in</strong>jection-molded parts with<br />

high-precision plastic components. Dur<strong>in</strong>g their production,<br />

all types of eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g plastics are processed<br />

by <strong>in</strong>jection mold<strong>in</strong>g mach<strong>in</strong>es with a clamp<strong>in</strong>g force<br />

of up to 5,000 KN. The automotive segment is an<br />

important submarket of the plastics <strong>in</strong>dustry. On the<br />

basis of the Röchl<strong>in</strong>g Group companies’ expert knowhow<br />

and state-of-the-art equipment, the components,<br />

modules, and systems that the Automotive <strong>Plastics</strong><br />

division manufactures meet the customers’ <strong>in</strong>dividual<br />

requirements. Our extensive materials expertise <strong>in</strong><br />

the ever more important field of direct compound<strong>in</strong>g<br />

also plays a part <strong>in</strong> ensur<strong>in</strong>g this.<br />
