This <strong>report</strong> has been produced by a new partnership <strong>of</strong> 25 organisations involved in the recording, researching and<br />
conservation <strong>of</strong> nature in the UK and its Overseas Territories.<br />
These include a wide spectrum <strong>of</strong> conservation charities, between them caring for all elements <strong>of</strong> our wildlife and habitats;<br />
recording societies that embody expertise on a wide range <strong>of</strong> taxonomic groups, including our best and least known wildlife;<br />
and research organisations responsible for gathering and analysing data that advances our knowledge <strong>of</strong> the UK’s nature.<br />
