• The exercise or other functional<br />

test requirements can be met.<br />

• The LV ejection fraction is = <strong>to</strong> or<br />

> 0.4.<br />

• There is no other disqualifying<br />

Disqualifies from driving:<br />

• Whilst symp<strong>to</strong>m<strong>at</strong>ic.<br />

• For 12 months after cerebral<br />

embolism following which<br />

Specialist assessment is required <strong>to</strong><br />

determine licensing <strong>fitness</strong>.<br />

Re/licensing may be permitted provided<br />

th<strong>at</strong> there is no other disqualifying<br />

condition.<br />

Disqualifies from driving when<br />

complex or severe disorder(s) is (are)<br />

present.<br />

Following a first licence applic<strong>at</strong>ion<br />

or identific<strong>at</strong>ion of such a condition,<br />

specialist assessment may be<br />

required before a licence is<br />

(re)issued.<br />

Certain conditions will require the<br />

issue of a medical review licence for<br />

1, 2 or 3 years.<br />

Following a first licence applic<strong>at</strong>ion or<br />

identific<strong>at</strong>ion of such a condition,<br />

specialist assessment may be required<br />

before a licence is (re)issued. Those<br />

with minor disease and others who have<br />

had successful repair of defects or relief<br />

of valvular problems, fistulae etc may<br />

be licensed provided there is no other<br />

disqualifying condition.<br />

Certain conditions will require the issue<br />

of a medical review licence for 1, 2 or 3<br />

years.<br />
