Quality makes the difference – also for sewing machine needles. Perfected geometry and first-class machining of each needle
from the Prym assortment always produce a perfect, professional result. The wide range of products allows individual sewing
techniques: whether embroideries on fine linen, dressmaking with ultra fine microfibres or the sewing of thick materials e.g.
corduroy, denim and sail cloth – with sewing machine needles from Prym every material can be sewn.
The shank:
Flattened shanks guarantee correct insertion of
the needle. The dimension of the flattened side
is adapted to the corresponding needle gauge,
ensuring the ideal spacing between needle and
hook and thus faultless looping.
The clearance above eye (flute) facilitates
looping and ensures alignment between
needle and hook.
Vertical groove:
The vertical groove allows the thread sufficient
space for unhindered movement at the penetration
point and ensures faultless thread feed.
The eye:
Specially polished eyes prevent the thread from breaking,
no matter how fast the machine is running.
Exact observance of the DIN dimensions means that
the needle point does not strike the needle plate, thus
preventing needle breakage.
The point:
The variety of point shapes, needle gauges
and eyes provide optimal conditions for
working with different materials and sewing
threads.
