Our service provides expert consultation and matching of your distinct colour requirements in glazing applications through the use of proprietary PVB interlayer<br />
technology.<br />

New Colours - Process (for adding a new colour)<br />
Lab Scale New Colour Match<br />
Customer provides: Colour specifications and/or colour chip, and glass materials<br />
to be used in the final glazing design.<br />
Salfex provides: 10cm x 10cm laminated samples using PVB colour strips<br />
shipped to customer for review and approval.<br />
Pilot Plant Colour Match<br />
Customer provides: Feedback and approval on Lab Scale Colour Match,<br />
and € 5000/new colour(apportioned equally among requesting laminators) for<br />
non-returnable Lab Service Fee.<br />
<strong>Saflex</strong> provides: Custom Formulation of colorants to produce custom colour<br />
PVB interlayer sample (approximately 10sm, < 90cm wide) to be shipped to<br />
customer for review and approval. <strong>Saflex</strong> also provides technical lab<br />
measurement of colours, and solar property measurements.<br />
New Colour Pilot Plant PPAP <strong>Product</strong>ion<br />
Customer provides: Feedback and approval on Pilot Plant Colour Match<br />
<strong>Saflex</strong> provides: Approximately 250sqm of custom colour PVB to be provided<br />
to customer for PPAP trials ( at <strong>com</strong>mercial price)<br />
New Colour Commercial Line <strong>Product</strong>ion**<br />
Customer provides: Feedback and approval on PPAP materials.<br />
<strong>Saflex</strong> provides: <strong>Product</strong>ion quantities per designated min order quantity.<br />
** The transition plan from PPAP <strong>Product</strong>ion to Commercial Line <strong>Product</strong>ion will need to be <strong>com</strong>municated to the customer during<br />
Phase 1. Internally this will be managed via the S number(as a formal Sourcing Change Process). Once the S number is <strong>com</strong>plete<br />
the customer will need to make its own internal assessment regarding need for any further PPAP requirements/documentation.<br />
