Stretching Forever<br />
I'm definitely not a morning person. I crawl out of bed all the time, but in the<br />
past nine months the picture of a tall glass of fruit juice has religiously given<br />
me a purpose to start the day. I love the smell of bananas, oranges, strawberries,<br />
blueberries, kiwis; the sound of the blender; the chaotic mess I make<br />
in the kitchen. All because I’d like to believe the fruit juice I regularly make for<br />
him has extended his life. It has created unexpected miracles.<br />
Now it seems like it's not doing it's magic anymore. What else can I possibly<br />
do?<br />
I refuse to hear<br />
the word nursing home . . .<br />
stretching forever<br />
with him by my side<br />
