The new compound combinations. 15 different versions came out of the lab and went<br />
into the most rigorous test regime we so far devised. Three remained:<br />
PaceStar. Lowest rolling resistance and good all-round characteristics.<br />
TrailStar. Perfect grip and acceptable rolling characteristics is just right for Freeriders.<br />
VertStar. The ultimate Downhill compound. Grip is important, but even more so is maximum<br />
absorption, so tires stay in ground contact without bouncing.<br />
