Protection-Level
AIRBORNE
The new lightweight for wheelchairs. At 30mm the Airborne is
wider and more comfortable than a regular wheelchair tire. The
additional comfort is not only useful in making a Back-flip landing.
Low weight and low rolling resistance provide momentum
- for the jump, or for traveling generally. Yet despite its sporty
background the Airborne is equally at home in everyday life.
For the first time we use the HD Speed Guard in a wheelchair
tire and the unique, high-density protection belt offers excellent
puncture protection. Take off!
MARATHON PLUS
Punctures are a thing of the past. Flat-less wheelchair tires
combine the comfort and easy running of a pneumatic tire with
the puncture free convenience of a PU tire. The black version
lasts considerably longer than the conventional gray color and
this unique Black’n Roll compound leaves no unsightly black tire
marks on indoor floors.

Schwalbe is the only maker to design pneumatic tires specifically for wheelchair users. Our solutions:
2Grip. Hand-friendly tires. The side walls are completely
smooth, so the tires glide silkily past the hands. Patent
protected and standard on all Schwalbe wheelchair tires.
Black’n Roll. Wheelchairs with black tires? Schwalbe has made it possible.
We developed a special Black’n Roll compound that does not
leave unsightly marks on indoor floors. Additionally it is far more robust
and much longer lasting.
Flat-less. SmartGuard puncture
protected wheelchair tires combine
the comfort and light running of
pneumatic tires with the puncture
protection of PU tires.
Reflex. Wheelchair tires with reflective lines. The lines
light up in headlight beams and the resulting large
circles of reflected light are easily visible on even the
darkest night.
