Paying special attention to the needs of the driver
when we design a coach cockpit is a Setra tradition.
This is the only way to ensure a cockpit that meets all
the requirements necessary for high levels of concentration,
relaxed driving, and also for the greatest safety, punctuality
and reliability in scheduled service provision.
The form of the cockpit is a typical example: the clear
separation protects the driver while at the same time
increasing his level of concentration. The interior is an
admirable combination of modern ergonomics and the
specifications of renowned business associations. All
instruments feature intuitive operation, and storage
compartments and trays ensure that everything remains
neat and tidy. Compartments for lost articles, emergency
equipment, fire extinguishers and personal items are
integrated in the cockpit: keeping things in order also
means safety.
Centrally positioned in the driver’s field of vision, an
intelligent multifunction display for critical data and
occurrences also serves for the purpose of onboard
diagnosis. Steering wheel and driver’s seat feature
infinitely variable adjustment. The vibration-proof fare
box is integrated in the cockpit door – easy retrofitting
of printer systems is possible. These are just a few of
many examples of the outstanding flexibility of the lowfloor
MultiClass.
