Mission locations<br />

The South Australian Museum are the official custodian of the Norman <strong>Tindale</strong> Collection. In the late 1980’s<br />

the State Library of Queensland were provided with the genealogical information for the Queensland and two<br />

New South Wales component. The communities comprised of: Cherbourg, Palm Island, Woorabinda,<br />

Cherbourg, Yarrabah, Mona Mona, Boggabilla and Woodenbong missions genealogies.<br />

In 2005 the State Library of Queensland was provided with the Mornington Island, Bentinck Island and<br />

Doomadgee genealogies<br />

If you require <strong>Tindale</strong> Genealogies for another state, it is advisable to contact the Indigenous Information<br />

centre of the South Australia Museum.<br />
