Before you moved into your home we ensured
it met our 'fit to let'standard.
If when inspecting the property our Repairs Inspector
felt that any rooms in your new home required
redecoration, they may have awarded you an allowance
to decorate your home. We currently provide new
tenants with B&Q vouchers which can be used to
purchase paint and wallpaper.
However, we are currently looking into the possibility
of providing more choice and using local businesses to
complement B&Q. One such outlet is Masseys, which
is a family run DIY business consisting of two shops, one
in Woodville and one in Swadlincote town centre.
They offer a range of decorating materials, including
Dulux and Crown.
Before pursuing this option further we want to take this
opportunity to consult with you.
