EL-6 ist ein Kettenschmierwachs, welches in speziellen Warmbädern
bei iwis in das Kettengelenk eingebracht wird. Dieses speziell für die
Erstschmierung von Ketten entwickelte Produkt weist einen sehr guten
Verschleißschutz auf und bietet einen guten Korrosionsschutz.
Neben der Lebensmittelindustrie wird EL-6 auch in vielen anderen
Industrien, wie z.B. der holzverarbeitenden Industrie eingesetzt.

EL-6 is a chain lubricating wax applied to the chain link in special
hot immersion baths at iwis. This product was developed specifically
for the initial lubrication of chains and consequently offers
excellent wear resistance and good corrosion protection. Besides
the food industry, EL-6 is also used in many other applications
such as the woodworking industry for example.

Einige Anwendungen erfordern den Einsatz biologisch schnell abbaubarere
Öle. EL-8 ist ein biologisch schnell abbaubares Mehrzwecköl
der Wassergefährdungsklasse 1 (i.a. nicht wassergefährdend).
Es weist ein sehr gutes Viskositäts-Temperatur-Verhalten
sowie einen weiten Gebrauchstemperaturbereich auf.

EL-8 is a multi-purpose oil that biodegrades quickly and is
classified as water hazard class 1 (not hazardous to water). It features
very good viscosity temperature behaviour as well as a wide
operating temperature range.

EL-9 ist ein Öl welches Ketten besonders gut vor Korrosion schützt.
Durch den Zusatz von Lösungsmitteln kann das Schmiermittel so
dünn aufgebracht werden, dass nur ein geringer Schmierfilm an der
Kettenoberfläche verbleibt. Hierdurch eignet sich dieses Öl hervorragend
für Anwendungen, bei denen nur sehr geringe Ölrückstände
mit dem Transportgut in Berührung kommen dürfen. Auf Grund
seiner hohen Verträglichkeit mit anderen Schmiermitteln muss die
Kette vor der Nachschmierung meist nicht gereinigt werden.

EL-9 is an oil that provides especially good corrosion protection
for chains. The added solvents allow the lubricant to be applied so
thinly that only a very light film of lubricant remains on the surface
of the chain. This lubricant is therefore ideally suited to applications
where only very small amounts of oil residue are permitted
to come into contact with the goods being conveyed. As it is highly
compatible with other lubricants, it is usually unnecessary to
clean the chain prior to relubrication.
