6. In addition to the lump sum leased freight, the leaseholder will<br />

have to pay 2% of the accepted rate towards development charges<br />

on parcel services to fund dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).<br />

7. No Budgetary increase shall be applicable during the currency of<br />

the contract. The tenderer while submitting his tender, shall be<br />

required to give the following information in the tender form, failing<br />

which his tender will not be considered.<br />

8.<br />

i. Number of days lease required. In case where the lease holder<br />

does not want to operate the lease contract on all the days of<br />

service available, then he shall be required to mention the<br />

specific day of week (Say-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,<br />

Saturday etc) on which he wants to operate the lease contract.<br />

ii. Number of exemption days required. In case, where the lease<br />

holder does not want to operate the lease contract on regional<br />

festival days viz Onam, Vishu, Pooja, Diwali, Christmas etc,<br />

then he shall be required to mention the specific festival days<br />

on which he does not want to operate the lease contract.<br />

iii. Number of days leave required (@ only after 30 lease operations<br />

i.e maximum 12 leave during the year)<br />

iv. Number of anticipated non loading days required during a year<br />

@ 1 day non loading after 6 operations (maximum upto 52 days<br />

in an year)<br />

The highest bid will be determined on the basis of total value<br />

of earnings offered by the prospective lease holder on the<br />

basis of details given in para 8 i, ii, iii & iv of the common<br />

salient features in during the year. The tenderer shall be<br />

required to indicate in the tender form number of loading<br />

days, number of exemption days, number of days of leave<br />

and number of days of non loading leave (anticipated), he<br />

wants to avail during the year.<br />

The tender will be evaluated on the basis of highest valuation<br />

taking into account number of loading days, number of<br />

exemption on regional festival days, number of days of leave<br />

and number of days of non loading specified by the tenderer<br />

in the tender form. For example- if a tenderer wants to<br />

operate lease contract 5 days in a week and desires to avail 9<br />

days exemption on regional festival days and 20 days nonloading<br />

during a year. The contractual value of his tender<br />

will be worked out as per the following method<br />
