<strong>Shanghai</strong> <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Aircraft</strong> <strong>Technics</strong> <strong>signs</strong> <strong>contract</strong> <strong>with</strong><br />

<strong>Singapore</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong><br />

Zurich, July 6, 2007<br />

<strong>Shanghai</strong> <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Aircraft</strong> <strong>Technics</strong>, the joint venture between <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Technics</strong> and<br />

<strong>Shanghai</strong> Foreign Aviation Service Corporation (<strong>Shanghai</strong> FASCO), has signed a<br />

<strong>contract</strong> for line maintenance services <strong>with</strong> <strong>Singapore</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong>. Services<br />

commenced on July 1, 2007.<br />

Under the agreement <strong>with</strong> <strong>Singapore</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong>, <strong>Shanghai</strong> <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Aircraft</strong> <strong>Technics</strong> will<br />

provide technical support, mainly line maintenance, for the airline’s Boeing 777 and<br />

747 aircraft during their transit stops at <strong>Shanghai</strong> (Pudong) International Airport.<br />

Initially, there will be five daily flights. Services commenced on July 1, 2007.<br />

In addition, <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Technics</strong> will also provide line maintenance services for <strong>Singapore</strong><br />

<strong>Airlines</strong>’ cargo operations into <strong>Shanghai</strong> (Pudong) for its Boeing 747 aircraft.<br />

<strong>Shanghai</strong> <strong>SR</strong> <strong>Aircraft</strong> <strong>Technics</strong> provides technical services at <strong>Shanghai</strong> International<br />

(Pudong) Airport. As a first step, the venture partners are establishing the operation as<br />

a leading provider of line maintenance and technical consulting services in <strong>Shanghai</strong>.<br />

At a later stage, the company intends to add technical training to their scope of<br />

services, extend its operations to other airports in the region and expand the range of<br />

products and services offered.<br />
