Carousel<br />
Carousel, the literary news magazine of <strong>Mount</strong><br />
<strong>Vernon</strong>, gives each student an opportunity to display<br />
her skills in creati\'e writing. Two issues of the<br />
magazine ha\'e been published during this past year.<br />
Each issue included articles pertaining to campus<br />
life, such as sports results, plays and concerts.<br />
Those students who are not on the Carousel staff<br />
are gi\'en an opportunity to submit an original jMcee<br />
of writing to the magazine during the annual writing<br />
contest. They are rewarded when the winning<br />
articles are published.<br />
Barbara Jacobs, the editor of Carousel, and Mrs.<br />
Gregg, the faculty advisor, have worked together.<br />
with the help of their staff, to give Carousel another<br />
successful vear.<br />
