300 million years which have
been formed through natural
geological movements, ice ages
and effects of the weather.
Incredibly some rocks have an
uncanny resemblance to familiar
shapes. You may be able to spot
the Dancing Bear, The Eagle,
Writing Desk, Gorilla and
many more.

You’ll find the shop and visitor
centre in Brimham House –
with a good range of gifts and
keepsakes.
From the house, there are
stunning, unrivalled views over
the rocks and across the North
Yorkshire countryside.
Enjoy a warm welcome at our
refreshment kiosk, offering great
value picnic food, hot and cold
drinks and ice creams.
Climbing Safety
Climbing the rocks is fun, but
can also be dangerous. Please
take care and only climb within
your capabilities.
