The museum is also home to the last surviving stretch<br />

of the Derwent Valley Light Railway (which visitors<br />

can ride on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays on<br />

production of their admission ticket), the York and<br />

District Beekeepers Association and the Yorkshire<br />

Guild of Spinners Weavers and Dyers.<br />

signs. The 747<br />

runs from<br />

York railway<br />

station to<br />

Murton<br />

village. The<br />

number 10<br />

First York bus<br />

service also<br />

runs from York railway station to Grimston Court. The museum is<br />

a 5/10 minute walk away. From the bus, follow Bore Tree Baulk. At<br />

the end cross the A166 and turn right, Murton Lane is on the left;<br />

Murton Park is at the far end of the lane on the left. Murton Park<br />

is also on the Sustrans cycle route 66. Please call if you would like<br />
