Supported the statistical programming for FDA submissions in CDISC format as requested by the
client. This included the SAS and XML programming and validation/QC of submission data files
(SDFs and CRTs), tables, listings, figures, and macros. Also assisted in the creation and maintenance
of utility macros, study data definition tables (DDTs) and the review of statistical analysis plans.
Manager, Statistical Programming • i3 Statprobe, Inc., San Diego, CA (2003 - 2006)
Assisted in planning and scheduling statistical programming project activities and resources. Supervised
and trained statistical programming staff. Oversaw the development, implementation, and
monitoring of adherence to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs). Performed statistical
programming for assigned clients as needed (including programming analysis datasets, listings,
summaries, graphs, providing secondary review of others output, and creation and maintenance of
necessary documentation). Determined if output quality meets standards and direct implementation
of remedial measures if necessary.

Led the programming and implementation of analysis datasets, data listings, summaries, and graphs
for inclusion in new drug applications (NDAs) submitted to the FDA and EMEA. Provided technical
consult on clients’ needs. Troubleshooted for staff and clients regarding specific programming concerns.
Reviewed listing, summary, graph, and tabulation specifications. Provided secondary review of
statistical programming deliverables.
I.S. Senior Programmer • J.D. Power and Associates, Agoura Hills, CA (2000-2001)
Coded and maintained SAS programs for various medium-sized (1,000 to 500,000 record) ad hoc and
long-term market research tracking studies. Used data step, macros and statistical procedures to report
data in Excel, Access, Epiphany and flat files.
Manager, Business Development Programming • ePen.com, Inc, Los Angeles, CA (1999-2000)
Developed and implemented plans to advance and promote an Internet startup company. Managed
department programmers using Perl CGI, HTML, and SQL while analyzing Website statistics, with

RELATED RESEARCH
Concentration Depth-Profiling for Continuous Spread Thin-Film Alloys • Combining various experimental
data to determine the concentrations of elements in thin-film alloy (Ongoing).
Predicting Treatment Patterns in ADHD Children • Used Medicaid behavioral health and retail pharmacy
claims data with logistic regression, survival analysis, latent class growth analysis, and Markov
models to describe longitudinal treatment patterns for ADHD. Results were compared to the recommendations
by the American Academy of Pediatrics (Ongoing).
Reducing Physiological Noise in Laser Scans of Neonatal Ferrets’ Visual Cortex • Used novel statistical
methods to create microscopic images of the visual cortex of an in vivo neonatal ferret that
were free of pixel movement caused by blood pressure and respiration (Spring 2006).
Migration of the Porcelain Crab • Provided statistical consulting to PhD candidate in biology. Applied
discriminant analysis to describe the migration of the Porcelain Crab along the California coast. Results
presented to the Western Society of Naturalists (November 2005).
Sample Size and Power Determination for Double Consent Randomized Design • Assisted professor
with simulation to estimate sample size and power for this experimental design (Fall 2005).
