On day 5, a morning flight brings you to historic Xian. After transferring to your hotel, head out<br />

Quarter and the excellent Shaanxi Provincial Museum. The following day will surely be spent<br />
on an excursion to the famed Army of the Terracotta Warriors. From Xian, fly to Shanghai – a<br />
dazzling melange of the old and new from the elegant colonial structures along the Bund to<br />
the cutting-edge architecture of futuristic Pudong. Those looking for bargains will be spoilt<br />
for choice with the city’s wide range of modern department stores or, for a more traditional<br />
shopping experience, check out the Yu Garden Bazaar and Fanbang Street in the Chinese Old<br />
Quarter. And don’t miss Shanghai’s pulsating restaurant and nightlife scene, not to mention a<br />

This 13 night package starts with 4 days in Beijing with plenty of time to visit famous sites like<br />
the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and the amazing Great Wall of<br />
<strong>China</strong>. You should also make time to see some of Beijing’s impressive examples of inspired<br />
modern architecture such as the ‘Water Cube’ and the ‘Bird’s Nest’ stadium, the focus of world<br />

Fly to Xian for 2 days to soak up the unique atmosphere of this historic walled city and marvel<br />
at the incredible Terracotta Warriors. Continue with a flight to Guilin, renowned for its magical<br />
