YOUTH SERVICES<br />
Our Youth Services break the cycle of poverty by engaging<br />
homeless boys and girls in constructive activities that promote<br />
healing and empowerment.<br />
CAMP HOMEWARD BOUND<br />
Each summer, Camp Homeward Bound provides three 16-day<br />
sleep-away sessions at Harriman State Park for hundreds of boys<br />
and girls. Camp provides a safe haven, away from the harsh life<br />
of city streets and shelters, where they have fun and make friends,<br />
while learning reading, math and science.<br />
Bound for Success After School and<br />
Summer Day Camp Programs<br />
These programs provide quality academic and life skills<br />
instruction to children living in New York City’s homeless shelter<br />
system through a comprehensive curriculum and recreational<br />
activities.<br />
LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS<br />
Our Long-Term Solutions address housing and employment<br />
challenges by providing homeless and low-income individuals<br />
with job skills and stable homes.<br />
First Step Job Training Program<br />
First Step empowers homeless and low-income women to take<br />
the first step toward self-sufficiency through client-centered<br />
occupational and life skill development, as well as job search<br />
assistance and job placement.<br />
RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (RAP)<br />
RAP helps homeless New Yorkers living in the shelter system<br />
who are employed full-time, but are still unable to afford housing
