who worship Him ought to worship Him in spirit and in truth.<br />
Wherefore, let us pray, crying out and saying: “O Spirit the<br />
Paraclete inflame our mind and our heart that we may say in a<br />
manner befitting God: ‘Glory be to the Father and to the Son and<br />
to the Holy Spirit, the Co-Essential Trinity.’ ”<br />
Pray to the Lord on our behalf, our lords and fathers the<br />
Apostles…<br />
<strong>The</strong>n they say the Gospel Response in the Batos tune:<br />
<strong>The</strong> soul <strong>of</strong> the Samaritan woman<br />
Who found the water <strong>of</strong> life<br />
Blessed <strong>The</strong>e, that in <strong>The</strong>e<br />
Lay the spring <strong>of</strong> the water <strong>of</strong> life.<br />
Let us worship our Saviour,<br />
<strong>The</strong> Good Lover <strong>of</strong> mankind,<br />
For He had compassion on us:<br />

<strong>The</strong> priest then says the Long Prayers for Peace and the<br />
Fathers followed by these prayers:<br />
PRIEST:<br />
Remember, O Lord, all those who have bidden us to<br />
remember them.<br />
DEACON:<br />
Pray for those who have bidden us to remember them, in our<br />
supplications and prayers, each one according to his name, that<br />
Christ our God may remember them in goodness at all times, and<br />
forgive us our sins.<br />
