CIPA Secretary<br />

1.07.01 The CIPA President may appoint a member to the offices of Secretary and/or Treasurer, both of<br />

which may be held by the same person. These appointments must be ratified by the General<br />

Assembly. The Secretary and Treasurer may be paid for their services but will not be allowed to<br />

vote. Each is duty-bound to perform all tasks associated with the office to which they have been<br />

appointed.<br />

General Assembly Agenda<br />

1.08.01 The Agenda for the CIPA General Assembly will include the following items:<br />

A. Call to Order<br />

B. Roll Call<br />

C. Apologies<br />

D. Legalization of Meeting<br />

E. Confirmation of the Minutes of the previous General Assembly<br />

F. President’s Address<br />

G. Presentation of Financial Reports and Budget<br />

H. Committee Reports<br />

I. Unfinished Business<br />

J. New Business for which due notice has been received<br />

K. Adjournment<br />

BR 1.09<br />

Discipline<br />

1.09.01 All persons of National Federations directly involved in artistic roller skating who fail to carry out<br />

their duties and responsibilities, or fail to obey the regulations of CIPA or the FIRS, will be subject<br />

to disciplinary action.<br />

1.09.02 Disciplinary action may be taken as follows:<br />

A. Caution or Warning<br />

B. Oral or written reprimand<br />

C. Levy of a fine (see FIRS rule)<br />

D. Temporary suspension for up to three (3) years<br />

E. Total expulsion<br />

1.09.03 All persons or National Federations involved in a disciplinary action have the right to defend their<br />

case in writing before any action is taken, but must do so within the time limit established by the<br />

Executive Committee.<br />

BR 1.10<br />

Suspensions<br />

1.10.01 Any member of the Executive Committee who is absent from three (3) consecutive meetings<br />

without offering a satisfactory explanation, or who hinders the Executive Committee in any way<br />

through careless behavior, will be requested to resign their office prior to the expiration of their<br />

term of office.<br />

BR 1.11<br />

Appeals<br />

1.11.01 Any appeal against the decision of the Executive Committee on all matters must be dealt with by<br />

the CIPA General Assembly.<br />
