prepares and maintains game fields used by youth and adult<br />

sports organizations and coordinates their schedules to ensure<br />

How To Register<br />

Class Registrations - In-person: Starts<br />

Monday, April 8, 2013 at class sites, during<br />

normal business hours. All classes are on first<br />

come, first serve basis. Online: Starts at 8:30<br />

a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013. You must<br />

have a Family or Individual I.D. number to<br />

utilize the registration portion <strong>of</strong> the site.<br />

You may contact any <strong>of</strong> the recreation centers<br />

prior to registration to obtain your I.D.<br />

number. Payment by credit card is required.<br />

Registration Fees - Resident and Non-<br />

Resident fees are set for all programs. All fees<br />

must be paid in full at registration. Fees may<br />

be paid in person by cash, check, Master-<br />

Card, Visa or Discover. All fees are per<br />

person unless otherwise noted. Please make<br />

Pavilion Reservations<br />

Select Park Pavilions are available for<br />

reunions, picnics and other special occasions.<br />

Picnic tables, grills and electricity<br />

are available at select pavilions – please<br />

check with our staff. Parks where pavilions<br />

are available: Ballard, Brothers, Crane, Fee,<br />

Jimmy Moore, Lipscomb, *Riverview, and<br />

Sherwood. A $50 refundable Security<br />

Deposit is required for all pavilion reservations.<br />

Resident/Non-Resident Identification<br />

- Resident and Non-resident fees are set for<br />

all programs. Pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> permanent residency<br />

for the purpose <strong>of</strong> determining appropriate<br />

fee will require a current permanent <strong>Florida</strong><br />

driver’s license or a current voter’s registration<br />

card. These cards must indicate a residential<br />

address within the city limits <strong>of</strong> <strong>Melbourne</strong>.<br />

Refund Transfer Policy<br />

The participant must initiate all requests<br />

for refund <strong>of</strong> fees. Please remember all<br />

individuals assume the risk <strong>of</strong> changes in<br />

personal affairs. Please choose your dates<br />

and programs carefully. <strong>Leisure</strong> Services<br />

will provide a “Request for Refund” form to<br />

individuals when they request a refund or<br />

Gazebo Reservations<br />

Wells Park Gazebo: Reservation <strong>of</strong> the<br />

attractive gazebo at Wells Park is available<br />

for weddings, concerts and other occasions.<br />

The gazebo has electricity and lighting.<br />

A multi use facility with over 20,000 square feet <strong>of</strong> usable space including two meeting<br />

rooms and a Main Hall. This facility can also be configured into one large open space,<br />

great for larger sized events. The <strong>Melbourne</strong> Auditorium is a rental facility available for<br />

activities such as wedding receptions, trade shows, Christmas parties, festivals, and many<br />

other types <strong>of</strong> events.<br />

2. Ball fields and pools - Refund requests<br />

must be received in the recreation <strong>of</strong>fice a<br />

minimum <strong>of</strong> fourteen (14) days in advance<br />

<strong>of</strong> the scheduled rental date. There will be a<br />

$5 administrative charge on all refunds.<br />

3. Pavilions and three-hour block rentals<br />

– Refund requests must be received in the<br />

recreation <strong>of</strong>fice a minimum <strong>of</strong> thirty (30)<br />

Eau Gallie Square: A beautiful little<br />

park with large Oak trees, palms and<br />

greenery, located on the corner <strong>of</strong> Highland<br />

Ave. and Eau Gallie Blvd. This park<br />

boasts a small, lighted amphitheater/pavilion<br />

with electricity available. The park has<br />

picnic tables, park benches, paved brick<br />

walkways and electricity throughout. Reservations<br />

can be made Monday – Friday at<br />

the <strong>Leisure</strong> Services Office, 1551 Highland<br />

a transfer to another program or receive a<br />

Pineapple Park Gazebo: The Pineapple<br />

Park gazebo is now available for rental.<br />

The gazebo has electricity and lighting.<br />

A multi-use waterfront facility with 3,477 square feet <strong>of</strong> usable space with room divider<br />

and warming kitchen. Front Street Civic Center is available for events seating up to 250<br />

and has a nice view <strong>of</strong> the river. This facility is located in a beautiful park setting with a<br />

gazebo also available for rent.

A 3,700-square-foot multi-use facility with a small warming kitchen. The center has a large<br />

playground on site and plenty <strong>of</strong> parking. The center is mainly used as a community center<br />

available for rentals, classes, and after school recreation for youth. Crane Community Center<br />

also <strong>of</strong>fers special events and programs for area youth throughout the year.<br />

Summer Camp<br />

Eau Gallie Civic Center<br />

Crane Summer Express (Ages 6-11 years old) - Crane Community Center is the place<br />

to be during Summer Break for loads <strong>of</strong> fun. Camp will <strong>of</strong>fer daily activities, trips, games<br />

and a chance to reunite with old friends and make new ones. Lunch and snacks are NOT<br />

provided unless specified on the schedule. Bring your child’s birth certificate and parent/guardian<br />

pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> residency and I.D. All camps are on first come, first served bases.<br />

If the week you desire is full, you may be put on a waiting list. 20% discount for each additional<br />

family member. Payment methods: cash, check, Discover, MasterCard or Visa.<br />

Eau Gallie Civic Center Teen Extreme (Ages 12-15 years old - Must be 12 by<br />

12/31) - Nine weeks <strong>of</strong> non-stop exciting activities! Daily field trips include ice skating,<br />

bowling, theme and water parks, swimming and much more! Cost includes activities.<br />

One-time T-shirt fee <strong>of</strong> $10.00 is due at registration. Bring your child’s birth certificate<br />

Registration and Reservations<br />

Registrations for classes held at the tennis courts on a first come first serve basis. Court<br />

reservations may be made by annual pass holders in person or by calling the Pro Shop 24<br />
