This line is designed to fit most car models straight
from the box.
This speaker line have shallower baskets and a
different magnet design – instead of traditional
magnets, extra strong strontium magnets are used.
Combined with high-class, individually tested crossover
filters for each type, the quality of sound is
first-rate. How can they sound so good without costing
more?
The answer is in carefully tested and adapted
component parts. Combined with any subwoofer in
the Reference series they gives an excellent performance
in all kind of vehicles. These speakers
come in two versions.
The PS4, RS5 and RS6 have single filter boxes
which mean that the filter box for each channel has
a combined filter box for the bass driver and tweeter.
The models PS4A, RS5A and RS6A have split filter
boxes for midrange driver and tweeter. This makes
it easier to install if you mount the midrange in your
door, and the tweeter on the dashboard.
RS5 / RS5A and RS6 / RS6A are using our new EFR
dual cone technique for extended frequency response.
