WHEN SPACE IS LIMITED This line is designed to fit most car models straight from the box. This speaker line have shallower baskets and a different magnet design – instead of traditional magnets, extra strong strontium magnets are used. Combined with high-class, individually tested crossover filters for each type, the quality of sound is first-rate. How can they sound so good without costing more? The answer is in carefully tested and adapted component parts. Combined with any subwoofer in the Reference series they gives an excellent performance in all kind of vehicles. These speakers come in two versions. The PS4, RS5 and RS6 have single filter boxes which mean that the filter box for each channel has a combined filter box for the bass driver and tweeter. The models PS4A, RS5A and RS6A have split filter boxes for midrange driver and tweeter. This makes it easier to install if you mount the midrange in your door, and the tweeter on the dashboard. RS5 / RS5A and RS6 / RS6A are using our new EFR dual cone technique for extended frequency response. THE EASIEST WAY TO PUMP UP THE BASS When you listen to a factory installed sound system you immediately feel that something’s missing, the bass! This can easily be fixed by installing an active subwoofer enclosure. It is the easiest way to get a good bass sound in any type of car. These active boxes are made of strong MDF board covered with grey-black felt mat. The amplifier SBA 185 is a class AB amplifier with a power output of 180 true RMS watts which guaranties a superb deep bass that don’t lack the kick. They also include both high and low level signal input and continuously variable phase control. The high level input include an automatic start function. We use the SBA185 in all our active subwoofer boxes. PASSIVE SPEAKER ENCLOSURES If you already have a suitable amplifier installed in your vehicle you can buy the same boxes with these subs, but without the built in amplifier. Just put it in your trunk, connect to the amplifier, and you will get a superb bass sound without a lot of work. All the active boxes are also available as passive.
