BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION:<br />

MANAGEMENT CONCENTRATION<br />

Program Code 1020/4041<br />

This program is designed for students who plan to earn the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration degree at <strong>Chipola</strong><br />

<strong>College</strong> with a concentration in Management. To be admitted to the BSBA program, students must have an Associate in Arts degree<br />

or at least 60 semester credit hours <strong>of</strong> postsecondary education with completion <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Chipola</strong> <strong>College</strong> general education requirement<br />

from a regionally accredited institution. Students must have completed the state-mandated business common prerequisites and earned<br />

an overall GPA <strong>of</strong> 2.0 in lower-division coursework.<br />

Students must complete 120 hours to obtain a baccalaureate degree from <strong>Chipola</strong> <strong>College</strong>. At least forty (40) semester hours must<br />

be earned in courses numbered 3000 and above. At least forty (40) hours must be earned in residence at <strong>Chipola</strong> <strong>College</strong> and a total <strong>of</strong><br />

sixty (60) semester hours <strong>of</strong> the work credited toward the baccalaureate degree must be earned in an accredited senior institution.<br />

QMB 2100 satisfies FL common business prerequisites; STA 2023 satisfies general education math requirements & FL common business<br />

prerequisites. Students with 6 sem. hrs. <strong>of</strong> other general eduation math course work should take QMB 2100; students who need additional<br />

general education math course work should take STA 2023.<br />

Choose 4 hours from the following: AML 2010, AML 2020, ENL 2012, ENL 2022, ENC 1133, HUM 2216, HUM 2233, or SPT 2521.<br />

If you have completed STA 2122, you have met this requirement. You cannot receive credit for both STA 2122 and STA 2023.<br />

Must be completed with a “B” or higher or approval <strong>of</strong> division chair.<br />
