The Northern Ireland <strong>Branch</strong> <strong>Championships</strong> were this year held at<br />
Omagh Show on Saturday 2 nd July. Exhibits from many of the leading<br />
flocks in N. I. competed for the championships which was keenly<br />
contested and won by S & W Tait with a ram lamb by Kings High and<br />
Mighty which was chosen by the judge Robert Fleming from<br />
Dumfriesshire, Scotland.<br />
Results were as follows:-<br />
Ram one year old & over – 1 st J H Stewart, 2 nd S & W Tait, 3 rd S & M<br />
Liggett & 4 th R C Watson.<br />
Ewe – 1 st M Dorman, 2 nd J H Stewart, 3 rd S & W Tait & 4 th M Dorman<br />
Shearling Ewe – 1 st J H Stewart, 2 nd M Priestly, 3 rd & 4 th S & W Tait<br />
Ram Lamb – 1 st S & W Tait, 2 nd J H Stewart, 3 rd M Priestly & 4 th S &<br />
W Tait<br />
Ewe Lamb – 1 st & 2 nd S & W Tait, 3 rd M Priestly & 4 th J H Stewart<br />
Pair of lambs – 1 st S & W Tait, 2 nd M Priestly, 3 rd P Donnelly & 4 th E<br />
