This beautiful Wren Church, which is also the<br />

<strong>Royal</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Central Church, has a world-wide<br />

following and is open daily from 09.00 am – 4.00 pm.<br />

There is Choral Eucharist or Matins every Sunday<br />

at 11.00 am, sung by the famous choir. Civilians<br />

and all members of the Armed <strong>Force</strong>s are welcome<br />

to visit the church and attend the services.<br />

HISTORICAL SOCIETY<br />

Formed in July 1986 to study the history of air<br />

power, the RAF Historical Society examines such<br />

topics as the Strategic Bomber Offensive of World<br />

War ll, the V-<strong>Force</strong>, various air campaigns, and<br />

further aspects of modern air power. The Society<br />

holds lectures, seminars and discussions, bringing<br />

together those involved in RAF activities past and<br />

present, at a membership fee of £15 a year.<br />
